Question by Bliss Sampele: How do I write sex scenes?

I am writing a young adult book about teenagers. I dont really know how to write sex scenes without making them gross. Help?

Perhaps it would be best to omit the scenes. Have the story lead up to the moment when it becomes obvious that they're going to do it (i.e. one pulls the sheets over both of them) and skip over the actual act. Pick up afterwards, whenever it feels appropriate.
